About the Chapter
The Middlesex Chapter of the American Guild of Organists serves organists, choral directors, clergy, students, and organ enthusiasts in and around Middlesex County, New Jersey. The chapter has been active since 1948, celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2023.
We are part of the American Guild of Organists, the national professional organization for organists in the United States, founded in 1896.

What We Do
- Members' Recitals — Open-format performances featuring organ, solo instruments, and voices
- Organ Crawls — Visit and play organs at churches across the region
- Social Gatherings — PreEpiphany Party, Dean's Picnic, and fellowship events
- Organ Study Grant — $500 toward organ lessons for young pianists 18 and under (details)
- Newsletter — Chapter news, "Meet the Members" features, and event listings (read online)
